PhilanTech Leadership

Dahna Goldstein

Founder

Through her work with venture philanthropies (Ashoka and Blue Ridge Foundation New York), Dahna Goldstein realized that innovative applications of technology could help foundations and nonprofit organizations direct significantly more of their resources to the programs and services they were created to deliver. And PhilanTech was born.

Prior to starting PhilanTech, Dahna developed web-based applications for the nonprofit sector, and consulted to organizations including IBM Foundation and United Way of New York. She also produced interactive eLearning programs, including the award-winning "What Is a Leader?" program, while working for Harvard Business School Publishing and Global Education Network. Dahna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Williams College, a Master of Education degree, with a concentration in technology, from Harvard University, and an MBA from New York University Stern School of Business.

Advisory Board

PhilanTech's advisory board of leading foundation executives, venture philanthropists, nonprofit leaders, and technologists includes: Jeff Cobb, Vice President, LearnSomething; Elizabeth Keating, Professor, Kennedy School of Government; Kimberly Otis, former President & CEO of Women & Philanthropy and former NYRAG Board Chair.
